SITE SELECTION TOOL

LogFac's simple Distribution Center Site Selection Tool will help you choose an economical distribution-center location based on your freight destinations and volume. The Site Selection Tool is in Microsoft Excel format for ease of use.

To use the tool:

1. Insert the three-digit zip code for your major freight destinations

2. Enter the freight tonnage or the percentage of freight volume associated with each zip.

3. View the results: the city, state, zip, even longitude and latitude for the economic distribution-center location.

Note:
To use the Site Selection Tool,  you must have Microsoft Excel installed on your computer. I f you do not have Excel installed but you do have an Office 2000 or Office XP installer CD-ROM, install Excel from the CD-ROM. Excel is also available for purchase from most computer retailers.
